Are you currently working as a design engineer in the world of yachtbuilding but keen to move your career forwards with a leader in their field?
Due to internal promotion, a longstanding name in production and custom boatbuilding based in Scandinavia are seeking a talented design engineer to join their team. Based in one of the regions most beautiful locations, the brand build and distribute their craft globally to a broad range of customers.
With a constant drive for progress, the design team are working with some of the worlds best known designers to produce incredible results and the future project plans look just as exciting. In the role of Design Engineer your duties will include:
– Working with external design partners to receive concept drawings and discuss high level design changes
– 3D CAD modelling or a wide variety of parts, mouldings and systems
– 2D Drafting
– Submission of documentation for classification approval
– Rolling design changes are required
– Regular progress meetings with production
Candidates to be considered for this role will need to come from a similar background as a design engineer, ideally in a production or semi-custom yachtbuilding facility. With exposure to Solidworks and/or Rhino you will confident in producing digital works in a high quality and timely fashion and have the ability to work as part of a close knit team. You’ll be provided with exceptional opportunity to grow and develop as well as a fantastic working environment.
Salary for the role will be around €45,000 per year plus relocation assistance if required
