We’re seeking a pair of talented Electrical Engineers to join a leading Boatbuilder who operate in the commercial and defence markets.
Known across the industry for their high standards of manufacture, this 20 year old brand supply craft of varying types to a wide range of customers. With a strong order book they continue to need to grow their team and at present have a requirement for a pair of Electrical Engineers at mid and senior level, to start with them immediately.
Working within the engineering team and under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, the role will see you support projects through the full electrical plan management. Duties will include:
– Working with the client and commercial team to understand the electrical demands of the project.
– Understand and specify the correct systems for the role in question.
– Design and engineer systems through effective work with a variety of CAD systems.
– Provide detailed drawings for manufacture and installation.
– Populating BOMS.
Our ideal individual for this role will be an accomplished and degree educated Electrical Engineer with either experience in or a keen interest in the maritime sector. You’ll be used to working with complex electrical projects including the use of CAN-BUS and/or NMEA2000 projects. With a strong grasp of electrical design, you will work with the team to specify and design a range of systems to cope with the demands of the client and be a part of a project team for each individual build.
