A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a budding Exterior Designer to join a fantastic superyacht design studio based in London
With a long history of designing semi-custom and full custom yachts from 10m to 50m+, this exciting studio has won multiple awards for its design and innovation capabilities and seeks a new team member due to increased projects and as part of a growth plan to take on more large yacht designs.
As Exterior Designer you’ll be joining a team of 5 other designers and work across a wide range of different designs, from innovative foiling craft to opulent superyachts, giving you variety in your everyday role and a chance to be truly creative. Taking projects from blank sheet to CAD output, you’ll be a confident designer capable of both teamwork and autonomy and with a passion for creating top quality work.
The role will see you work in collaboration with a number of different manufacturers and shipyards, where strong communication skills will be essential alongside meeting tight project deadlines.
The ideal candidate for the role will bring with them the following skills:
– A degree in Transport or Yacht Design
– 3+ years industry experience in semi custom or custom yacht design
– Strong 3D capability, ideally with Rhino
– Excellent team skills and the vision to meet collective goals.
