SYR are working with a well known brand in composites manufacture who have built their reputation through top level marine composites manufacturing.
Having grown exponentially across the globe, they are renowened as some of the best at what they do, however as they step into a new phase of growth they seek to diversify their manufacturing capabilities into markets such as space, aerospace and architectural composites. As such, they are looking to bring on a senior sales professional to take on the challenge of growing their market share globally.
Reporting into the Global Sales Director, the role will come with the following duties:
– Creation of targeted business development programs across multiple markets
– Building of a solid leads pipeline and conversion of potential clients into physical orders
– Exploitation of your existing network of contacts to attract new business leads
– Network online and in person at industry shows and events
– Visiting clients to pitch and win work
– Manage your business pipeline through the in-house CRM database
In a candidate we’re seeking someone both technical and commercial. You’ll understand composites manufacture to a reasonable level and be confident to deal directly with manufacturing businesses and end users to piece together accurate quotes using specific products and manufacturing techniques. With a solid existing network you’ll be capable of seeking out leads from day one along with building and preparing target customers for ongoing growth.
Confident in building relationships, you’ll be able to work with internal and external stakeholders to nurture and foster business both short and long term.
You’ll be provided with a host of tools to succeed and be expected to travel regularly to continue building brand awareness and develop leads. In turn this employer will provide an attractive salary and bonus package for the right person.
