Are you an ambitious Exterior Designer looking to propel your career forwards by joining a leading international design studio with projects of 30-100m in length?
SYR Shoreside Superyacht Recruitment are partnered with a leading Italian designer who are expanding their team to cope with increased demand. Having supported a wide range of shipyards from tenders to megayachts, the studio has a great reputation for the design of luxury craft and multiple award nominations received throughout their history. With projects ranging from 30-100m+, the role of Exterior Designer will come with the following duties;
– Working with the CEO to understand the client brief.
– Helping to develop concepts in sketch and 3D for review and sign-off.
– Creating external design for full craft and components.
– 3D CAD modelling in Siemens NX.
– Technical drawing for further development and engineering.
– Involvement in the overall project team for each vessel.
As an individual, you will be a talented designer with the capability to work alone whilst also being able to work closely with your colleagues to generate and develop exciting designs. You will have a strong grasp of 3D CAD (Siemens NX) and be able to produce accurate drawings for development and manufacture.
The role itself will see you based in northern Italy and as such we do require any applicant to have the existing right to live and work in Europe and be open to relocation to the local area if based elsewhere. English language skills are also essential.
