Superyacht Marina General Manager

A leading marina group seek an accomplished individual to lead one of their flagship venues in mainland Spain. 

Boasting an impressive international network of marinas, this growing brand are experts in providing large yacht owners with the best in marina service. With each facility offering high class support, on site retail, dining and accommodation facilities, they are the pick of yacht owners globally. 

One of their larger facilities in Spain, which can accommodate even the worlds largest yachts, seeks a General Manager to ensure the smooth running of the facility and its continued growth and prosperity. A challenging role, the following duties will apply:

– Overall management and leadership of the facility, including line management of various department heads

– Interaction with captains and owners when they visit the facility to ensure they are provided with all the services and facilities required

– Liaison with local port authorities on boat movements and operational matters

– Growth of the various departments within the facility, through strong leadership and using the support of internal and external marketing resources

– Internal recruitment and operational management 

 

The role will suit an individual with experience working in the large yacht marina world who is seeking a new challenge with a growing facility. You will need to understand the service levels expected and be able to lead your team to uphold these standards at all times. A strong people-person you will also be confident managing and working with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis. 

The role will offer an excellent remuneration package including basic salary, bonus and accommodation locally. Ideally we are seeking a Spanish national for this position, however ex-pat candidates will also be considered, though Spanish language skills are required.
