Are you a junior sales professional in the composites sector considering a step up? Or maybe a laminator, engineering or boatbuilder with a keen eye for sales and a desire to step off the tools?


SYR are supporting one of the leaders in composites as they seek to take on a hungry new salesperson to assist in growing their market share. Manufacturing and selling a wide range of materials, resins and adhesives this brand have developed a global network and continue to evolve in a highly competitive market. With access into marine, wind, automotive and more they are consider a leader in their field. 

As part of their growth plans they now seek a hungry salesperson to take on the UK market. Working under the vision of the Head of Sales, this will be a field-based role with regular visits to the company head office. Tasked with building brand awareness and generating new accounts, the role will see you building a busy schedule of face to face and online meetings with potential new clients with a target to increase sales volume and value with new customers. 

With the support of the business, you will be confident in presenting a wide range of products and understanding the needs of your potential clients in order to effectively sell them the right products and engage their custom for the long term. 

As an individual you will need to possess two main skills. 

1. An understanding of composites – Layup methods, materials and resins

2. Excellent sales and commercial skills – An ability to identify and build sales opportunities through cold and warm calling, attending events and visiting clients. A good listener, you’ll be able to extract the information required from potential customers in order to advise and suggest suitable products and secure orders. 

You’ll be provided with a car allowance, access to a global product list and be supported through extensive product training in order to be able to maximise revenues. Likewise, a solid salary and benefits package is offered alongside long term career advancement opportunities.
