SYR partner with Onboard People to offer subcontract labour supply

Leading superyacht industry recruitment brand SYR today announce a formal partnership with Onboard People, a leading supplier of subcontract labour to the luxury yacht building sector.

Following exceptional growth of their permanent recruitment division, SYR have been keen to broaden their range of recruitment services. With the recent introduction of IR35, the provision of subcontract labour has become infinitely more challenging, however Onboard People have invested heavily in ensuring their full compliance to regulations through their own strategical partners, leading to their own client base trusting them implicitly to provide the right standard of workers.

The partnership between SYR and Onboard People will see the two companies share resources in order to provide the most complete service to their clients across both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions both in the UK and Europe.

Ed Ewer, Founder of SYR – Having worked with Zoe at Onboard People before in a previous role, her attention to detail and commitment to supporting her clients goes above and beyond her competitors. With our biggest focus being on customer service, it makes total sense for us to work together to leverage our expertise, ensure optimal customer service. With strong growth plans, we’re excited to see the partnership evolve.

Zoe Callard, Director of Onboard People – When the opportunity arose to work again with Ed, following the formation of SYR, Onboard People were delighted with the opportunity. Ed has an enviable blend of knowledge within the Marine sector mixed with an ability to forge and foster client relations demonstrated by his reputation in the superyacht industry and proven by the success of his new venture, SYR. Onboard People and SYR share the same ethos with complimentary clients and services so formalizing the partnership makes perfect sense.
