Aftersales Technician

Are you an all-round Marine Technician or Engineer keen to work with a well known brand out of the Med yachting hub of Palma de Mallorca?

With ongoing expansion plans, this experienced distributor and broker of a number of international and well known brands seeks to appoint a Commissioning and Aftersales Technician to work with their Majorca offices and their Med-based fleet. An enjoyable role that will see you travel both locally and across the region, you’ll be fulfilling the following duties:

– Working with the sales department on incoming craft for customer delivery, ensuring they are fully commissioned and any retrofit items installed before delivery.

– Joining sea trials and running snagging checks.

– Working to support customers on aftersales matters such as warranty claims, repairs and retrofit items.

– Submitting warranty claims and working with the suppliers to secure replacement parts.

– Carrying out repairs of a mechanical, electrical, composites or interiors nature.

– Acting as a point of contact for customer technical queries.

To be considered for this role you will need to currently be located in Majorca and fulfil a technical maritime role. Ideally with a boatbuilding background and relevant qualifications, you’ll be confident in taking on the aftersales care of a wide range of sail and power craft, dealing with customers, suppliers and manufacturers to provide a seamless service that is efficient and cost effective. You’ll be provided with a fully fitted out and branded company vehicle and be given both manufacturer and product training to continually evolve your skills, along with a strong earnings package and continued growth potential.
