Position Title: Yacht Central Agency Manager
Location: London or South of France
Reports To: Director of Yacht Management
Overview:
The Yacht Central Agency Manager oversees the operational, commercial, and administrative functions of yachts under central agency management. This position plays a key role in maintaining client relationships, optimizing yacht performance, and ensuring the seamless execution of charter and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Coordinate yacht listings for charter and sales, ensuring accuracy and quality of promotional materials.
- Act as the primary liaison between yacht owners, captains, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and classification society requirements.
- Monitor the performance of yachts in charter operations and recommend improvements.
2 Charter and Sales Management:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize charter bookings and sales.
- Collaborate with brokers to negotiate and finalize charter and sales contracts.
- Analyze market trends to position yachts competitively in the global market.
3 Client Relationship Management:
- Provide regular performance reports to yacht owners, including financials, feedback, and recommendations.
- Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
- Build long-term relationships with owners, brokers, and industry partners.
4 Administrative Oversight:
- Maintain accurate records for all yachts under management, including contracts, schedules, and performance data.
- Manage budgets and oversee cost efficiency in operations and marketing.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices and payments related to charters and sales.
5 Team Coordination:
- Supervise support staff, including coordinators and marketing personnel.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in yacht management, brokerage, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of yacht charter and sales operations.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Proficient in yacht CRM systems and industry-specific software.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic recommendations.
- Certifications: Industry certifications such as MYBA, IYBA membership, or equivalent are a plus.
