Finance Manager

Are you an accomplished Finance Manager with experience in construction project finance and keen to work on an exciting new project in the Caribbean?

SYR are working with a resort facility who are seeking an experienced and qualified accountant to join them as they embark on two major projects, both in terms of physical construction and the implementation of a new accounting software. 

Located on a small but busy island which is frequented by the ultra-rich, the role will see you work in partnership with the Finance Director to manage all finances within the organisation, including:

– Management accounting of the whole business.

– Rollout of a new accounting software (likely Sage-based).

– Handling of bank accounts and finances across international jurisdictions.

– Preparation of relevant tax and VAT documentation in line with local and international requirements.

– Financial reporting.

And much more. 

With major investment in construction projects taking place in 2024 and beyond, we are seeking someone with experience in construction projects and the intricacies that come with them. You’ll ideally be ACCA qualified or similar and be confident managing what can sometimes be complicated accounts for an international multimillion-dollar business. 

You will be provided with relocation to the Caribbean facility and also provided with local accommodation and an attractive tax-free earnings package. It should be noted that as this is a small island location, that infrastructure for schooling and alike is very much limited, so this should be considered when it comes to making an application.

The role is also hiring immediately and the ideal candidate will be able to relocate by the end of February.
