Are you a passionate and detail-oriented FF&E Designer ready to make a significant impact? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our vibrant studio team in a full-time role. You’ll be instrumental in shaping unique and innovative interior spaces by selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment for diverse projects. What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with our team to deliver bespoke interiors that exceed client expectations.
- Develop innovative and practical design concepts that align with client briefs and project visions.
- Contribute to the growth of our residential business.
- Produce comprehensive FF&E schedules, mood boards, material schemes, and presentation documents.
- Select and specify all furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes.
- Manage FF&E budgets to ensure alignment with project financial goals.
- Liaise with suppliers for quotes and assist with procurement.
- Collaborate with shipyards, interior outfitters, architects, and suppliers.
- Maintain and update our international FF&E library, host supplier meetings, and attend design shows.
- Visit shipyards, sites, and boat shows, overseeing FF&E installation to ensure design intent is achieved.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in FF&E design.
- A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- A deep knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for interior design and the latest trends.
- Experience and/or a strong interest in the yacht industry is highly valued.
- An excellent understanding of materials and finishes.
- A collaborative and creative mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD and ESTI is preferred.
