Marine Project Manager

Are you a driven project manager used to working across complex projects in the maritime world?

 

We’re seeking an experienced project manager to join our client in Malta, working across a varied and challenging range of projects in the maritime space. With a history of refitting and building complex vessels across 7 shipyards, the parent company have the expertise to take on anything from a shaft alignment to a 10m hull extension.

Due to a busy season ahead, they seek an accomplished project manager to join them, tasked with leading internal and external partners to run a number of projects. Duties will include:

– Working with the Project Director and planning team to ensure suitable capacity for the seasons projects

– Acting as a central point of contact for the client

– Leading internal colleagues and managing external subcontractors throughout the project

– Reporting on project scope, progress and cost where required 

– Quality oversight and final sign off for delivery back to client

 

In a candidate we’re seeking an individual with expertise in the maritime project management space. Ideally with experience on commercial or cruise projects, you’ll be confident to manage and lead, deputise and troubleshoot. With a strong technical background you’ll be confident oversee a range projects and manage those around you to a high standard. The role will see you located at the shipyard in Malta and as such will require you to be based locally. Italian and English language skills are also necessary.
