Are you an ambitious Naval Architect or Design Engineer currently working in the yachting or high performance marine sector and keen to get stuck into a wide range of projects from yacht tenders to racing superyachts?
SYR are yet again supporting one of our valued clients based on the south coast as they are yet again growing in response to demand from the industry. Taking on anything from design support to full end-to-end engineering, the studio has seen itself support some incredible projects and is working through an already very busy 2024 pipeline.
In the role of Naval Architect/Design Engineer you’ll be taking on the following duties:
– Hull & Deck design/modification.
– Mechanical and electrical systems placement and routing.
– 3D CAD Development of both simple and complex engineering tasks across each project.
– 2D Drafting for production.
– Compliance checking and modification of existing drawings to meet requirements.
– Creation of BOMs.
– Specification of a wide range of systems.
Working with a talented team from across the industry, you’ll be working on a host of exciting challenges and be part of a close knit team of individuals who are focussed on producing high-end work and working in a collaborative manner. You’ll come from an educational background in naval architecture or yacht design and have gained a minimum of a years experience in a relevant employer in the leisure or high performance sectors.
