Production Co-Ordinator

We’re looking for an accomplished shipyard production professional to join a leading superyacht yard in Italy to be the main co-ordinator of all internal and external labour and subcontractors for builds exceeding 70. 

Located on the Italian west coast, the yard boasts some incredible recent launches and remain one of the busiest in the industry for forward orders. 

This crucial role for the business will deputise to the Head of Production with the following duties:

– Overall control of all internal and external labour resource for assigned builds

– Planning and co-ordination of subcontractors across each project ensuring compliance with a range of deliverables

– Working with project management, purchasing and external stakeholders to maintain a strong and current flow of work across the production floor on multiple builds

– Providing regular reports to management on project progress, troubleshooting and highlighting potential project delays 

In a candidate we’re seeking someone with a strong history in production leadership in the yachtbuilding or shipbuilding markets. A strong communicator is essential, as is Italian language skills
