Regional Manager - France

We’re on the lookout for an astute marina professional keen to move away from daily operations and into a senior management role that will see you leading regional development and growth for a well known marina operator. 

Well known  witin the marina world and already operating locations across Europe, the brand are now looking to expand their presence in France and will further locations being mooted they are planning ahead to appoint a regional manager to oversee high level operational management for the company. 

Reporting into the CCO and CFO, this is a critical growth role. Duties will include:

– Full P&L leadership across the region. Tasked with operating a profitable series of marinas with clear growth strategies

– Operational and process oversight, ensuring that service standards constantly exceed expectations across all sites

– Occupancy growth, both in annual and occassional berth holidngs

– Continuous review of all sites in your duristiction, working with both marina managers beneath you and senior management above to discuss and allocate funds for targeted growth and marina development

– Enusring support for training and development at all levels within your allocated sites

– Representation of your region in board meetings

– Regular reporting for internal and external stakeholders. 

– Working with local and regional governments and officials to champion your marinas in the local community

For this role we seek an individual with exceptional management skills alongside a solid grasp on numbers and processes. With a background in an operational marine role, ideally in marinas, you’ll be confident to lead a team of managers beneath you and be as comfortable working with the board as you will treading the boards of the marina to meet current and potential berthholders. A multifaceted individual, you’ll be driven by success and leading by example. 

The role will see you based in Southern France and a major prerequisite of this job is French and English language fluency.
