Position Summary
The Sales and Charter Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the sales and brokerage team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth transactional processes, maintaining high levels of client service, and supporting day-to-day functions related to yacht sales and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist brokers with the full cycle of yacht sales and purchases, including listing, marketing, negotiation, and transaction coordination
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, offer letters, and closing documentation
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial teams to ensure smooth due diligence and compliance
- Maintain CRM systems and internal databases with up-to-date listing, client, and transaction information
- Liaise with clients, co-brokers, shipyards, surveyors, and flag authorities
- Support yacht marketing initiatives: listing brochures, photography coordination, MLS platform updates, and web listings
- Organize yacht visits, sea trials, and inspections in coordination with captains and yacht crew
- Monitor yacht inventory and market trends to assist brokers with pricing strategies and market analysis
- Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and preparing reports
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or related field preferred
- Previous experience within the yacht industry is required
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with yacht CRM systems (e.g., YachtCloser, YATCO) is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Multilingual capabilities (especially French, Italian, Greek, or Spanish) are advantageous
- Passion for the yachting industry and luxury services
