In the role of Sales Manager, you will undertake:

  • Business Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with superyacht captains, crew, owners, and other key stakeholders in the superyacht ecosystem.
  • Sales Strategy: Identify new sales opportunities and implement tailored strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Travel: Represent the company at international trade shows, industry events, and individual meetings with clients, requiring regular worldwide travel.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to continuously adapt and refine sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and client communications, sharing progress and insights with the management team.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record in sales, ideally within the luxury, nautical, or superyacht industry.
  • An established network amongst superyacht captains and industry professionals.
  • A self-motivated, ambitious nature with the ability to thrive in a results-driven, commission-based role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish trust.
  • A willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and remote collaboration platforms is a plus.
  • A passion for exceptional customer service and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Day-to-Day

  • Proactively reach out to existing contacts and cultivate new connections within the superyacht industry.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, pitches, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless on-boarding and delivery of services or products.
  • Schedule and attend virtual or in-person meetings to nurture client relationships.
  • Consistently track and analyze your sales performance, ensuring that you meet or exceed your targets.
  • Participate in team calls, strategy sessions, and professional development opportunities while working remotely.
