Senior Boatbuilder

We’re looking for Boatbuilders to join a leading UK shipyard, tasked with building some of the most incredible luxury craft on the market. 

With an impressive history in the build of luxury vessels, this brand are known globally for the quality of their work and the individual nature of the vessels they build. As such, they are the main choice for superyachts and owners globally when it comes to choosing one of their build slots.

Due to continued growth and an order book that is full through to 2026, there is a need to bring in a number of senior and experienced Boatbuilders to the team. Seeking talented all-rounders, the role will include the following duties:

– Working as part of a project team, assigned to a specific build(s).

– Receiving the vessel following lamination and preparing the hull and deck for fitout.

– The full fitout and installation of glazing, interiors, joinery and interior parts.

– Working in parallel with engineering and electrical to ensure that the build runs seamlessly and quality is maintained throughout.

– Completing your allocated works in a timely manner to a high quality.

The type of candidate we’re looking for is someone who is ideally apprentice trained with a minimum of 5 years as a Boatbuilder. You’ll need a solid understanding of composites, joinery, deck fit and glazing installation and be confident in working from CAD drawings, installing parts to an exacting standard. A team player, you’ll be confident to work with others and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

In turn, you’ll receive an excellent hourly rate of up to £22/hr with career progression and overtime on offer.
