Are you a stores professional with a strong ability to organise and improve?
SYR are working with a bustling small craft builder in the South West who are looking to employ a Stores Manager to streamline their entire stores division. Working to build a range of craft from series build production craft to customer superyacht tenders, there is a huge throughput of parts ranging from raw materials to high value one-off items. With up to 30 craft being built at any one time, this has led to a very busy stores department that now needs serious support.
Within this key role, duties will be as follows;
– Working with the company ERP system to catalog and organise stock.
– Ensuring a smooth booking in and out process of products to stores.
– Pairing with design and production to ensure release of items to build teams in line with requirements.
– Putting in place a low stock system and driving a streamlined process of inventory management.
Our ideal candidate will come from a busy manufacturing environment where throughput of items will be high and require effective management. You’ll be used to working with a small team and supporting multiple departments, using both your own skill and a range of internal tools to ensure effective product and inventory management.
The role will see you given an opportunity to support a growing business, rewarded with career progression and a salary of around £40,000 along with further benefits. The role offers an immediate start.
