We’re looking for Relationship Managers to join a brand that offer provisioning services to the superyacht and commercial maritime sectors.
Headquartered in Exeter where this role will be based, the company provide an incredible range of items from engine spares to gym equipment, paint to safety gear and pretty much anything else. Supporting both the new build market and craft in operation the business has enjoyed strong growth since its launch and continues to thrive globally as one of the market leaders.
Reporting in to the Business Development Managers, the role of Relationship Manager focusses on the following areas:
– Taking over from the BDM once the account is onboarded to understand the customer requirements and to generate quotes
– Confirming the sale, generating the required documentation and placing equipment orders with a wide range of suppliers
– Managing the delivery timeline to the client, keeping them abreast of timescales
– Co-ordinating logistics for order delivery
– Continuing to develop the client relationship, growing revenue streams
The role itself will suit someone currently working in an Account Manager type role or similar where relationships are key to business success. You’ll be competent when it comes to building relationships and also in the ongoing management of the end to end ordering process. With the help of a range of in-house tools, you’ll be able to expertly organise the customers needs and be able to provide them with clear and continuous management of their request. Being a reliable cog as part of a well oiled machine is imperative!
Whilst not essential, an understanding of or interest in the maritime sector would be preferred.
On offer is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading brand. You will be offered a basic salary of around £30,000 plus an OTE earning potential of close to £40,000 not to mention a range of employment benefits. Whilst unlikely to be often, there may be on some occassions a need to travel internationally.
