    A fantastic opportunity to join one of yachting’s most recognised names in a technical capacity.

    Key responsibilities include ensuring the fleet complies with class and flag, maintaining strong working relationships with Captains, Chief Engineers and crew, shore based yacht managers and the company DPA. You’ll be supervising and supporting designated yachts from an engineering capacity covering mechanical, electrical, technical safety, environmental, LSA and navigational complaince in support of the company SMS and applicate class & flag rules.

    The position  carries a lot of responsiblity and the ideal candidate will be comfortable managing sometimes difficult and stressful situations with the ability to deliver, negotiate and make executive and technical decisions. A combination of strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercial.contractual skills is the ideal mix. Proven experience in technical managemtn, refit and drydock, project management, budgeting, compliance and reporting will be required.

    This is a hybrid role requiring 2 to 3 office days per week in Central London, so candidates are asked to condsider this before applying. Applicants must have the right to live/work in thr United Kingdom. International travel is to be expected.

    In return the company offers a salary package in the £75-80k range, discretionary bonus structure and additional add-ons/perks.

      We’re looking to speak with an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join one of the most dynamic interior design studios in the yachting sector, based in London. 

      Known for their unique style and ability to bring together a wealth of exciting concepts, the studio continues to enjoy strong growth and is working on more and more ambitious projects. With a very proactive board of directors, the studio is on course for continued success. 

      Joining the team at Senior Interior Designer you will be responsible for end to end management of a project team, taking projects from a clients ideas to a finished and installed interior. 

      Duties will include:

      – Leadership of a team of junior and midweight designers across a host of interior design projects

      – Building a close working relationship with the client to develop their dreams into a reality, creating brilliant concepts for further development

      – Researching trends, materials, furniture and more to ensure a current and contemporary view on interior design

      – Overseeing the project through the installation and delivery phase ensuring the brief remains fulfilled 

      – Attendance at shows and events to drive brand awareness and to stay abreast of new launches. 

      The role itself will suit a highly experienced interior designer with experience in interior design in the yachting sector. You will be used to working with yachting clients to design interiors of yachts exceeding 30m and possess a keen eye for style and trends. We’re not looking for someone keen to blend in and follow the crowd when it comes to this role! With strong leadership qualities and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders you will be confident and driven, whilst ensuring that your work and that of your team, is of the highest qualoity

      It goes without saying that an excellent ability with sketch, 3D and 2D CAD is  important and crucial to you effectively executing the role.

      Whilst the role will be London-based expect a fair degree of travel to events, clients and shipyards on a regular basis.
