Background

Extensive hands-on experience with Nastran (essential). Familiarity with other FEA software (e.g., Abaqus, Ansys) would be advantageous.

Reporting into the Head of Naval Architecture, duties will include:

– 2D output for fabrication, components, assemblies and cutting files

– Accurate drawing generation to be stored on the in house PLM and also to be provided to class and flag for ratification and verification

– Working with fellow department heads to ascertain team requirement within current and future projects
